Back to the task · working prototype

Leave yourself
a way back.

For remote workers whose next tab becomes the next hour. Choose one small step, park the distractions, and keep a return note for interruptions.

One useful step

25:00
Ready when you are.

Not now, not forgotten

A thought is not an instruction to open another tab. Put it here, then return to your next step.

Your parked thoughts will appear here.

    After your session

Review these thoughts. Keep what matters, ignore what no longer does. You don't owe every thought a task.

    What moved forward?

Finished sessions will appear here. Time recorded is elapsed time, not proof of productive work.

      A small return ritual

      1. Make the next action visible. “Work on the report” leaves a decision to make. “Write three rough bullets” gives you a place to start.
      2. Put the easiest distraction a little further away. Move your phone or close the feed tab if you can. This page cannot enforce that for you.
      3. Capture the interruption. Park a passing thought. For a real interruption, pause and leave a return note before switching.
      4. Come back to the note. Resume with that single action. If your plan no longer fits, change it.
      5. Finish deliberately. Note what remains. A timed window ending is an invitation to check in, not a reason to interrupt useful work.

An original practice aid, not a clinical treatment or a promise of productivity gains. Try one session and decide whether it helps your work.
